The hardest lesson I learned in life

When things are not working out in your life or not working in your favor, the best thing to do is accept the situation and let the adventure begin because there is a reason you are going through it at this moment of your life.

Just the other week, I had a challenging day not getting through to people who were supposed to deliver my office desk; it took a lot of patience not to let it get to me. I admit...I blew up.

I got agitated (like a spoiled brat) and complained that things were not working out for me that day. But, instead of letting it affect me more, I reminded myself that there is a reason why I am going through this right now and to practice patience instead.

By night time, once I calmed down, I realized that what I went through was a champagne problem. I let my ego get the best of me. I reminded myself that I would not have gone through this “challenging” day had I not embarked on my journey a few years ago.

A few years ago, I had an earthquake happen in my life. Anything you could think of happened to me. My 13-year relationship fell apart, I got fired from work, went through depression, and it all happened simultaneously, one fail after another…2 years of suffering and resisting it.

I was upset with the big guy upstairs. But, thanks to that journey, I learned that everything we go through is for a reason.

Had I not gone through that experience, I would have never embarked on my new journey of following my dreams. Everything that happens to us in our lives is placed there for a reason. Perhaps it is learning something from it and experiencing it fully. Perhaps we have to go through hardships to see the true beauty of life itself.

The best thing you can do is to accept the situation as it is, not let it get to you (which is the challenging part), and enjoy the journey.

Life is filled with lots of lessons SPRINKLED throughout your lifetime for you to experience.

So the best thing to do is to enjoy the ride!
